This site is dedicated to communication. FREE and UNINHIBITED. I feel like when I’m behind my computer writing, no one can give me a dirty look, or boo and heckle what I’m saying. I get to make my point to the screen in front of me. And I think when we are able to write our thoughts privately, and then click post to make them public, we are committing to open conversations about the topics in life that frustrate and ultimately separate us as humans.
Honestly, it doesn’t have to be that deep, though. Sometimes, we get so happy and luminous and look around with no one to share that joy with. I feel like words have always been that friend who with the grasping of a pen or the power of a computer, I have always been able to call on… to talk to.
I love to write. I’ve always loved to write. I think that mastery of language is a powerful tool. It enables you to employ a level of communication that many only reach through acts of violence, lust, or other improprieties.
I’m young. And I have all of this optimism and idealism about what I know the world could be. I honestly think I’ve convinced myself that the world can be changed if people would just write it down… as a precursor to saying it. My words are my olive branch to liberation. And my word is bond.
